Drove the last stretch of highway 1 today between Long Beach and Oceanside. I think there is just the last few miles of the coast south of San Diego that I haven’t driven.

©09.28.21 All these green diamonds are cargo ships waiting to load and unload. If you’ve been waiting for something to arrive, it might be on one of these or the many other ships that are camped out up and down the west coast just waiting to get into dock.

©09.28.21 The ferry I rode over to the island on was made in Freeland, WA. Pretty much everytime I’ve been on Whidbey in the last few years, we’ve driven past Nichols Bros.

09.27.21 Wrightwood to Long Beach

Drove down to Long Beach to visit Steve via the stretch of highway 1 between Ventura and Long Beach. It is a part that I had not yet driven. With an unexpected side trip to Ojai.
