©09.01.21 Had breakfast at the Lost Parrot Cafe. While there I came across this rack of wines for sale. Was happy to see a Whidbey Island wine.

Took Marlene and Kenny to the airport this morning and drove the long way back on Highway 2. It looks a little different in the daylight, without the fog.

©08.24.21 We rode the alpine slide and then the Mineshaft Coaster seen in the background. The coaster was basically a single person coaster ride where you could control the speed down the track. Both were fun.

Took a trip down to Loch Leven with Marlene in the morning. And took in the parade of cars in town for the car show in the evening.

We made a trek down to Charlie Brown’s where we had lunch before dropping Sondra and Lance off at the airport. Sad to say goodbye to them, but I will see them again at some point.

Took a quick drive up to the Marin Headlands this evening. Wasn’t sure if I would see anything or if it would be fogged in like it has been much of the week. I lucked out and it was pretty clear view of the bridge.

Decided to drive the 49 mile scenic drive around SF today. It was something I always thought about doing when I lived here, but never got around to. Turns out I had been on most of it over the years at various times. A few sections I had not.

It was a good way to see how the city has changed. It was kind of foggy today.

Went to Sonoma with Claire and Shep today and then we met up with Jen, Kyle, Lee, Megan, Eric and Larry for dinner. It was great to see everyone in person as opposed to a zoom call.
